Terms and Conditions

My Terms & Conditions apply to all of my sales and they do not affect your statutory rights. I comply with the UK Government’s “Distance Selling Regulations” within the EU.

SHIPPING TIMES

I am usually able to ship within 3 business days of cleared payment. If a delay is possible, I will email you to let you know.

 

POSTAGE AND DELIVERY - DOMESTIC

I am located in the United Kingdom. Currently I am only shipping to UK Mainland. I reserve the right to change prices at any time and I am entitled to refuse or cancel any order placed by any customer.

I ship via Royal Mail or the Hermes company for small orders. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days. During the pandemic, allow for delays. For larger orders, I post via Royal Mail only so that I can insure the contents. Delivery should be from 2-4 working days after I post but can sometimes take longer.

 

It is the customer's responsibility to check that the address given at point of order is correct. Please double check the address, particularly when paying by Paypal. I cannot take any responsibility for parcels delivered to an incorrectly given address.

 

If you give special delivery instructions such as to a different address to the one you live at, alternative arrangements such as leave by the front door or with a neighbour, you take complete responsibility for the parcel once it has been left according to your instructions.

 

NON-DELIVERED POST

Items returned through non-delivery to an address or non-collection from a postal depot will incur a re-delivery charge.

 

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

If your purchase doesn't arrive, let me know so that I can get Hermes or Royal Mail to find it! Unfortunately, I cannot refund items which have been lost due to an incorrect address having been given when ordered.

 

I wrap my items well but should one arrive damaged, please contact me immediately and within 48 hours. Send me photos of the damage so that I may pursue through the delivery company. 

 

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND EXCHANGES

I do hope you love your purchase but if not, let me know within 14 days and you can return it for a refund. You will need to return it within 14 days from when you tell me. You will need to pay the postage to return it and you should return it using a tracked service for your protection. You should obtain a Proof of Posting in the event of the return package being damaged or going astray so that you will be able to follow it up with the relevant courier.

 

Cancellations are accepted before item dispatch. After item dispatch, the refund policy applies.

I don't accept exchanges but you may return your purchase for a refund and then make another purchase.

 

TAXES, DUTIES AND CUSTOMS

Buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. Items may be delayed in Customs and this is out of my control.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT ME

I run my business as a Sole Trader and it is managed by me, Terry Chance (Cambridge CB1 2HF). I sell online and at Cambridge Open Studios and some craft fairs. I do not have a studio open to the public so it is not possible to accept callers or visitors except during Cambridge Open Studios. My preferred method of communication is via email (terrychancemosaicsetc@gmail.com). I rarely use the phone but do leave a message on 01223 506074.

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, PHOTOS AND SPECIFICATIONS

I try to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions of items however, sometimes errors do occur. I make every effort to rectify any errors as soon as possible but I cannot be held responsible and accept no responsibility or liabilities for incorrect data.

Note that colours viewed on computer screens that are not calibrated or when printed off, may differ from those in real life. Sizes quoted are approximate sizes, If the colour or size is important, please contact me for more details.
