Amber and Turquoise Stained Glass Suncatcher

From the top of the hanging wire to the bottom of the suncatcher, it measures about 22 cms x 8.5 cms wide.

The suncatcher will be packed well and sent in a parcel box. The packaging may be recycled.

The copper foil technique has been used to make this suncatcher. Glass is scored and cut by hand, edges ground and then copper foiled. Wire is sometimes used as embellishments or to hang by and this and the foil are soldered with a mix of lead and tin to make the piece strong. The final piece is then polished. 

Glass is fragile, handle with care. It is safe to gently handle by the hanging wire. Where a piece has a gap in the side, don't hold this side near that gap.
